The maker

I make the things
I once needed
to find.

I'm Kelsey—an artist, fantasy author, worldbuilder, parent, and builder of systems that help imagined things become tangible.

The long work

This did not begin
as a brand.

I have been building the mythology beneath Masked Dreams for more than twenty years. It began as a place to understand monsters, masks, longing, protection, and the parts of a person ordinary language cannot always reach.

Over time, that world became novels, characters, tarot decks, artwork, interactive experiences, and tools for other creators. The forms changed. The underlying question did not: how can imagination make an inner life visible?

Built in the margins

Constraint became
an architecture.

Most of this house was built in interrupted, twenty-minute windows: writing between caregiving, designing on a phone, learning whatever technical skill the next idea required.

Aether Forge grew from that same approach into a professional deck creation workspace. It is proof that the way I work is not a footnote to the work. It shaped the systems, the clarity, and the insistence that creative tools should meet real people where they are.

What guides the house

Darkness is not the opposite of healing. Sometimes it is the road that finally leads there.
  • Monsters can reveal our humanity.
  • Beauty should carry meaning, not merely decoration.
  • Different forms of intelligence deserve tools built for them.
  • A world becomes real through coherence, care, and time.
